'96 forward Josh Poland was acquired by the Peninsula Panthers on Saturday afternoon for future considerations.

It was a 60 minute struggle but when the final buzzer sounded it was the Peninsula Panthers who put the Comox Valley Glacier Kings into a deep freeze edging the visitors by a 4-1 count.
