The Peninsula Panthers now find themselves behind the 8-ball after they were knocked off by a 7-0 count Sunday afteroon at the Archie Browning Sports Centre at the hands of the Victoria Cougars. With the loss, the Club finds themselves in a 'Must win' situation with the 4th game of the series set to go in the friendly confines of the Panorama Recreation Centre Monday evening at 7:30 pm.

The Cougars scored on their first two shots of the game and then coasted to the win after building up a large lead.  The Panthers could not find a way to hit the back of the Cougars net but they will have to come up with some answers by Monday evening if they hope to prolong the series.

"We have not picked a good time to not be at our best,"explained Panthers Owner Pete Zubersky. "We play four games in five days and if you are not ready to go right away, it can all be over in the blink of an eye. I expect that we will come out Monday night with some of our best hockey of the season."

There is not a lot of time for the Panthers to lick their collective wounds.  It's a 7-game series and they will have to play one game, one period and one shift at a time, it's that simple.  The Cougars will undoubtedly have some ideas of their own.
