If you are a Peninsula Minor Hockey Association player, enjoy Panthers' hockey, like Valentine's Day and would like to win a game-worn jersey, Friday evening is your lucky day!
This Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. the Peniinsula Panthers will host the Kerry Park Islanders in their final game of the 48-game regular season schedule. The Panthers have been on a torrid pace for the past two months and are looking for their 16th straight win in a row at home. They continue to chase the 2nd spot overall in the V.I.J.H.L. standings, and at this point it looks as though it will come down to this final game.
As importantly, the Panthers have tabbed Friday night as Peninsula Minor Hockey and Fan Appreciation Night. There will be many prizes for fans to win, but perhaps more exciting is the 3rd jersey giveaway which will take place at the end of the game during an on-ice ceremony.
The Panthers will be wearing a special-edition jersey made up for this Valentine's Day encounter with the Islanders. All P.M.H.A. players, coaches and managers will be admitted into this game for FREE. The players will have their names put in a draw as they get stamped to go into the game. A separate table will be set up to accommodate all P.M.H.A. players, coaches and managers. After the game, the draw will be made for 23 winners in front of the crowd and the game-worn special-edition jersey will be gifted right then and there.
PLAYERS MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE DURING THE DRAW TO BE A WINNER.
We're looking forward to seeing everyone there in what should be the biggest crowd of the season.
