#16 , 16-year-old Connor Logan dumps the puck past Cougars' defenceman Graham Zagrodney in Game 3 action Sunday afternoon at the Archie Browning Arena.

Well, Goliath was the winner on Sunday afternoon at the Archie Browning Arena in a game that did not have any resemblance to the entertaining one which took place at the Panorama Recreation Centre on Friday night.  This time around the Victoria Cougars thumped the Peninsula Panthers 12-2 in a penalty filled affair.  In fact in the 2nd period alone the Cougars scored 7 straight powerplay markers and added an 8th straight at the 1:30 mark of the 3rd period.  The Panthers totalled 190 minutes in penalties while the Cougars garnered only 61 minutes.

"I could get into my real feelings on how the game was handled out there by the 3rd team on the ice but that would not be all that productive," said Pete Zubersky.  "We have to look past the debacle on Sunday afternoon and look forward to a great game on Monday evening at the Panorama Recreation Centre.  Our kids were whistled often, too often in my mind but we will regroup and give it a go in Game 4.  This series is not over by a long shot and that is why they call it a best-of-7 and not a best-of-3.  I have to hand it to our kids, for the most part they kept their cool and are looking for a chance to compete in the next game."

The puck drops at 7:30 pm and a large crowd is expected to be on hand.
