Peninsula Panthers' leading scorer 17-year-old Josh Adkins and 17-year-old goaltender Stephen Heslop were named on Saturday evening as co-winners as the team's Most Valuable Player. Assistant Coach Rob Armstrong was on hand to present this award.

The Peninsula Panthers Organization hosted their annual Awards Dinner on Saturday evening with approximately 100 players, family memebers and fans in attendance.  The event was held at the Glen Meadows Golf and Country Club and after dinner the awards portion of the evening took front and centre.  11 of 12 awards were handed out and the winners were named as follows;

Community Leadership - Ben Meek and Cody Breitenstein
Top Scorer - Josh Adkins
Most Sportsmanlike Player - Zack Smith
Unsung Hero - Daniel Welch
Steve Simpson Memorial - Brett Sjerven
Volunteer of the Year - Assistant Coach Ben King
Fan Favorite - Grayson Vickers
Most Improved - Reece Costain
Rookie of the Year - Nathan Looysen
Best Defenceman - Cody Breitenstein
Most Valuable Player - Josh Adkins and Stephen Heslop
Top Playoff Performer - To be determined

With the Awards Banquet in the rear view mirror the Panthers will now focus on the first round of the VIJHL Playoffs with the Victoria Cougars.  The schedule for this 1st round tilt is;
