Panthers play last regular season game - Friday night

The Peninsula Panthers will host the Kerry Park Islanders on Friday night at 7:30 pm to close out their VIJHL regular season.  The evening should be an enjoyable one and the Club is hoping fans will join them for the festivities.

After the first period, Panthers players will be in the lobby signing autographs for the young fans in attendance.  All fans who require a program for the autographs will be gifted one from the hockey club.  "This is one of the highlights of the year," explained Panthers' President Coreen Zubersky.  "The young kids have such wide eyes and for that matter, so do our players.  This is a great event for all fans to enjoy and we hope we get a great crowd to join us on the evening."

The Panthers will then move to the 1st round of the playoffs against the VIJHL leading Victoria Cougars.  Times and dates for the best-of-7 series are as follows:

Game 1    Thursday, Feb 21st at Esquimalt   7:00 pm
Game 2    Friday, Feb. 22nd at Panorama     7:30 pm
Game 3    Sunday, Feb 24th at Esquimalt     3:00 pm
Game 4    Monday, Feb 25th at Panorama    7:30 pm
Game 5    Thursday, Feb 28th at Esquimalt   7:00 pm (if needed)
Game 6    Friday, March 1st at Panorama     7:30 pm (if needed)
Game 7    Sunday, March 3rd at Esquimalt   3:00 pm  (if needed)
