The Peninsula Panthers will head into the 2019/20 season with what appears to be a veteran-laden Club and as usual, will feature a lineup composed of a majority of players from the Greater Victoria area.  The Panthers will play three Exhibition and a 48-game Regular Season.  The Club will play 23 of their 24 home games on Friday nights at 7:30 pm as well as one afternoon affair with a 1:00 pm start on Family Day on February 17.

The "Cats" will open the exhibition season at home on August 23 against the visiting Westshore Wolves in a game which will allow both squads to highlight a group of rookies and younger returning players.  The two cross-town foes will play two more contests in the exhibition season, on the 28th in Westshore and then back again at the Peninsula on August 30 which the locals will utilize as their final tune-up before their home opener a week later.

The Panthers open their 2019/20 Regular Season at home when they welcome in the visiting Saanich Braves on Friday, September 6.  The following evening they will hit the road visiting up-Island to Mill Bay to face off against the Kerry Park Islanders.

The usual Prospects and All-Star games will have a twist this coming season and should add a lot of excitement around the two events.  The Pacific Coast Hockey League and the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League will go head-to-head in a Prospects Challenge Game in Nanaimo on January 12.  And two weeks later, the VIJHL All-Stars will travel to Delta to take on the PJHL in the All-Star Challenge.

The lone afternoon game on February 17th will feature the Panthers 3rd Jersey and as in years gone by, the game-worn jerseys will be gifted to lucky PMHA players and fans on ice immediately after the conclusion of the affair.

The Panthers play their final Regular Season game on February 21 and the following night will hold their Awards Banquet at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney, B.C.

Round 1 of the playoffs will commence on the week of February 24, 2020.  The VIJHL Champion will be crowned in the final week of March and that Club will head to Williams Lake in the 2nd week of April to take part in the Cylone Taylor Cup Tournament, the winner being crowned as the top Junior B Club in the Province.
