The Panthers will open Round 1 on Tuesday and Friday night in Campbell River and will be back at home for Game 3 and 4 next Sunday and Monday night. The Club also held their annual Awards Banquet Sunday evening.

The Peninsula Panthers are looking forward to their 1st Round Best-of-7 tilt which is slated to open in Campbell River against the Storm on Tuesday evening.  The Cats will be back in Campbell River on Friday before hosting Game 3 and 4 in the friendly confines of the Panorama Recreation Centre on Sunday and Monday night.  Details of the 7-game series are as follows:

On Sunday evening, the Panthers held their annual Awards
Banquet at the Mary Winspear Centre on Beacon Avenue in Sidney where 100 people gathered.  The 3 hour-event was MC'ed by longtime Panthers' volunteer Jason Fletcher.  A number of players packed home the hardware and these included:

Rookie of the Year - David Edgar and Hunter Jensen
Best Defencemen - Thomas Spink and Skyler Diamond-Burchuk

Most Valuable Player - Josh Lingard and Riley Braun
Playoff MVP - To be determined

Rookie First Goal Awards went to Edgar, Grunert, Fraser Auchterlonie and Jonah Ragsdale.
