17-year-old Riley Braun and 18-year-old Josh Lingard have played a lot of hockey with each other throughout the years and that trend continued on Sunday afternoon in the VIJHL Prospects' game.

Two former members of the Peninsula Minor Hockey Association and current teammates on the Peninsula Panthers were once again front and centre playing on the same line in the VIJHL Prospects' game held Sunday afternoon in Saanich.  The two showed some magic throughout the afternoon and when all the smoke had cleared, it would be their South Division squad that would prevail over the North Division by a 6-2 count.

Lingard currently leads the Panthers in scoring and is followed by Braun, both playing the majority of the season on the same line.  The two also anchor the Panthers' power play unit.

Lingard and Braun will be back with their Club on Wednesday evening in Saanich when they will join their mates to take on the Saanich Braves.  And the Panthers will be back in the friendly confines of the Panorama Recreation Centre this Friday night at 7:30 pm when they welcome in those same Saanich Braves for the back end of the home-and-home series.
