The Peninsula Panthers will go for their 3rd straight win on Monday night at 7:30 pm when the Victoria Cougars invade the confines of the Panorama Recreation Centre.

Riley Braun and his Peninsula Panthers mates will look for their 3rd straight win and their 2nd win at home in as many chances when they face the incoming Victoria Cougars for a little Turkey dinner Monday evening at 7:30 pm.

The Panthers lineup will be missing a couple key 17-year-old players in Joe Stafford-Veale and Shota Yamamoto.  Stafford-Veale suffered a high ankle sprain last Wednesday in a 6-2 win over the Westshore Wolves at the Q-Centre and is not expected back for 4-6 weeks.  Yamamoto was whistled for a hit late in the exciting 2-1 win over the same Wolves Club on Friday night at the Panorama Recreation Centre and he will be watching from the sidelines for the next three games.

The Panthers ice a roster which has seven former members of the Peninsula Minor Hockey Association including Ty Hermsen, Bailey Ross, Braeden Hansen, Logan Speirs, Tanner Wort, Josh Lingard and Braun.  They will dress 15-year-old affiliate Tyson Johnson for the Monday evening game, a callup from their farm team, the Peninsula Midget AA Club.

The fans will be involved.  During the 1st intermission the Club will host the annual "Turkey Bowl" when five lucky fans will each win a $25.00 gift certificate from Thrifty Foods.  The 2nd intermission will feature the Speedy Auto Service "Shoot to Win."  One lucky fan will get two shots in an attempt to win $500.00 worth of tires.  The shooter will take home an oil change and lube from Speedy at a minimum.  There will be numerous other prizes and fans who purchase a program and insert will have a chance to win.

The Peninsula Panthers would move within a point of the South Division leaders with a win on Monday evening.
