On Wednesday night, the Peninsula Panthers and Westshore Wolves battled at the Q-Centre in VIJHL action. Four step-brothers battled like the Hatfields and McCoys but this time it was the Tuttes and Cochranes!

On Wednesday night the Peninsula Panthers invaded the confines of the Q-Centre to play the Westshore Wolves only four days before Christmas.  To the casual observer the game was not unlike any other regular season match between the two Clubs but this one had something special about it!

The two teams took the customary 15-minute warmup and then the Zamboni burst from the gate and the ice was greased.  For 60 minutes the two teams raced up and down the ice and when the final buzzer sounded, the two teams left the surface and headed to their respective dressing rooms.  But three Panthers and one Wolves players stayed on the ice and met at centre ice for a photo op.  Brothers Holden and Duncan Cochrane and brothers Liam and Brandon Tutte were joined at ice level by father Ryan Tutte who took a photo of the four step-brothers.  It was the first time that all four had played in the same game and being only four days before X-Mas, made the game just a bit more special.

The four will have several more opportunities to hit the ice together as the two Clubs will meet five more times in the regular season.  It was a night to remember!
