As the Peninsula Panthers prepare for their season home opener on September 2nd, the marketing season is in full swing. And one look at the Olympia will show just that!

The 2016/17 Vancouver Island Junior Hockey season is almost upon us as the Peninsula Panthers put prospective players through their paces at the Panorama Recreation Centre.  And although many are looking ahead to Friday, September 2nd when the Club opens their season at home when they host the visiting Saanich Braves, for ownership the marketing season is still full steam ahead.

"We really have to focus on the marketing aspect of our business when the final buzzer sounds in late March," explained Panthers President Coreen Zubersky.  "Sponsorship of the Club is really our lifeline and all levels of this sponsorship are important to us and help us remain viable in the League.  MOGO has come on board in a big way this season and with their Creative Department involvement we have managed to put together the most unique package in our League.  The MOGO people have been a pure pleasure to work with and we cannot thank them enough for their support."

The online banking institution have several pieces of marketing inventory with the Panthers, the most unique being the full wrap of the Olympia ice resurfacer in the "B" Arena at the Panorama Recreation Centre where the Panthers face off every Friday night.

"I can't tell you how many people have been asking about MOGO and what business they are in," said Zubersky.  "I believe this will be a great partnership for both of us, MOGO and the Panthers.  I would think there will be a lot of folks coming into the arena to take a good look when the ice is being cleaned between periods."

The Peninsula Panthers ask that you support all of our sponsors, big or small.  If you or your company are interested in sponsorship with the Hockey Club, please feel free to contact Coreen - she will help you find a package that is perfect for you.

The Panthers will host the Westshore Wolves in exhibition action on Friday, August 26th with the puck slated to drop at 6:00 pm.  Go Panthers!
