Panthers "Warriors" looking to get into playoff mode on Wednesday

The Peninsula Panthers face-off against the Victoria Cougars on Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm, a full hour before their regular start time. The game is being rescheduled from January 30th when a power outage occurred after a vehicle hit a hydro pole.

The puck will drop at 6:30 pm on Wednesday night when the Victoria Cougars invade the friendly confines of the Panorama Recreation Centre.  With only four games left in the regular season, the Peninsula Panthers still have their sights dead ahead on South Division foe - the Kerry Park Islanders. 

The Islanders hold a 4-point advantage however, the last game of the regular season is set for Friday, February 13th right at home at the Panorama and it will be head-to-head against the Islanders.  This final game of the regular season will see the Panthers break out their 3rd Jersey and 23 youngsters from Peninsula Minor Hockey will win the jerseys in an on-ice ceremony after the completion of the game.  Panthers will be signing autographs between the 2nd and 3rd periods in the lobby of this final game.

The Club has all four remaining games scheduled at home:

Wednesday, February 4th @ 6:30 pm vs. Victoria Cougars
Friday, February 6th @ 7:30 pm vs Westshore Wolves
Monday, February 9th @ 7:30 pm vs Saanich Braves
Friday, February 13th @ 7:30 pm vs Kerry Park Islanders
