Age: 31

Brian grew up in Mississauga, Ontario playing his minor hockey in the Greater Toronto Hockey League winning 7 consecutive city championships and 2 all Ontario championships in Peewee and Bantam.  In the 7 seasons spent in minor hockey, Brian played with the Toronto Red wings AAA, Toronto Marlboros AAA and Toronto Young Nationals AAA.  During this time Brian was coached by Bob Goodenow who was the former Executive Director for the NHLPA from 1992 to 2005.  After Brian's Bantam season he leaped over Midget and played Jr. A with the North York Rangers of the Metro Junior Hockey League, compiling well over a point per game.

Brian was selected in the 5th round of the OHL Major Junior draft by the Plymouth Whalers.  He spent 4 successful seasons in the OHL improving in each year with the Plymouth Whalers, Oshawa Generals and Guelph Storm.  His success in the 1999 season got him an invite to the Edmonton Oilers training camp.  Following the 2000 season, Brian was selected in the NHL entry draft as a 19-year-old by the Minnesota Wild in the 7th round, 199th overall.  He attended the Minnesota Wild inaugural training camp in 2000 and was centering a line of Pascal Dupuis and Marian Gaborik.  Brian attended the Wild camp in 2001 as well and failed to sign a contract.  After this Brian decided to go to school and attended the University of P.E.I. from 2001-2003 playing alongside Joel Ward, now of the Washington Capitals and both finishing in the top 20 in CIS scoring, back-to-back seasons.

In 2003, Brian turned pro and entered the ECHL.  For the next 7 years Brian spent 5 years playing in the ECHL and 2 years in Europe, totalling over 400 pro games.  Brian moved to Victoria in 2000 and more recently over the 2010-2012 seasons, he has been the Head Coach of the Saanich Braves Minor Hockey Association Bantam and Midget team respectively.  Brian has been teaching hockey at camps and clinics for over 15 years in Toronto and the past few years here in Victoria.  He has ambitions of being involved in hockey in any capacity from coaching at the highese level possible to scouting in the future.
